Itinerary

  • Day 1 – Arrive Vancouver:

    Arrive in Vancouver and be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore this beautiful city as you please.

  • Day 2 – Vancouver, Embark Ship:

    Head to the harbour, where your ship awaits, and take a moment to settle in ahead of your unforgettable cruise through the Inside Passage.

  • Day 3 – Inside Passage:

    Relish life on board with a full day at sea today. Perhaps take in the sweeping coastal views, enjoy your ship’s facilities, savour the delicious dining options or simply relax.

  • Day 4 – Ketchikan:

    Dock in Ketchikan today, set on the tranquil shores of the Tongass Narrows, and spend some time exploring as you please.

  • Day 5 – Juneau:

    Alaska’s capital, Juneau, sits at the foot of Mount Roberts and Mount Juneau on the Gastineau Channel. Flowing from the Juneau Icefield, the magnificent Mendenhall Glacier lies just beyond the city’s doorstep. Widely regarded as one of the most remote and breathtaking state capitals in the United States, this picturesque destination is surrounded by pristine waters, lush forests and rugged mountains, offering endless opportunities for outdoor adventure.   • Day 6 – Skagway:

    Arrive in Skagway, the Inside Passage’s northernmost point. During the peak of the Klondike Gold Rush, this bustling port town became the main gateway to the goldfields, rapidly growing into Alaska’s largest settlement. It’s the perfect place to discover Alaska’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. See heritage buildings, now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, and perhaps set off on an excursion (additional expense).

  • Day 7 – Glacier Bay National Park:

    You might need to pinch yourself this morning as you awaken to the spellbinding beauty of World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park. Take in the calving tidewater glaciers and learn about the area’s geological wonders from local rangers.

  • Day 8 – College Fjord:

    Cruise amid the stunning setting of College Fjord, a magnificent stretch of water home to five tidewater and large valley glaciers.

  • Day 9 – Whittier, Disembark Ship, Denali National Park:

    Disembark your ship in Whittier and journey north through pristine Alaskan landscapes aboard the deluxe McKinley Explorer train. Settle into your bi-level, glass-domed railcar or step onto the open-air platform for panoramic views. As you pass through Talkeetna, take in the breathtaking sight of Denali from your seat.     Signature Experience – Tundra Wilderness Tour

    Journey into the heart of Denali National Park and embark on a phenomenal wilderness tour. Enjoy a spectacular opportunity to see the tundra landscape and you may spot Alaska’s diverse wildlife in the national park, including moose, grizzlies, caribou, eagles and wolves. The Tundra Wilderness Tour experience is operated by the US National Park so experience a unique opportunity to travel on a school bus into the park.

  • Day 12 – Denali National Park, Talkeetna, Anchorage:

    Set out on the road via motorcoach to Anchorage, stopping at the charming town of Talkeetna on the way before heading to the Happy Trails Kennel. Here, you’ll meet playful puppies and learn all about sled racing. Find out what it takes to train sled dogs and compete in the iconic Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Later, continue to Anchorage.

  • Day 13 – Anchorage:

    Set out on a morning sightseeing tour around Anchorage, then enjoy a Signature Experience. This evening, gather for a farewell dinner with your newfound friends.
